HE CAME BACK AGAIN AND THIS TIME HE HAD A HAMMER IN HIS HAND IN AN AGRESSIVE MANNER and this is the new owner.

My personal experience was terrible. We went as a large group last year and had a wonderful time, we were even invited to come back. Unfortunately the owner passed away and his son took over. He was at NO time ever a nice person. The moment we arrived he was on a fast track to make our stay as miserable as possible. He knew how our group was since he knew of us from the prior year. At arrival he already stated that he had reservations allowing us to return. SO I ask, why did he allow us to make reservations? For me the only answer is that we had above 150 people the first time and he didnīt want to loose that money. Unfortunately our group was smaller this time and I believe he wanted us out from the first moment we set foot. He should of just of said no to the reservations when we called. We felt harassed at all times we were there.

From the start there were mixed messages.

One person brought their dogs not knowing the rules. That person immediately spoke to the office so as to not hide anything and they were told it was ok as long as the dogs were quiet and remained tied up.
That same night we were told that our kind of music was normally not allowed that only music for religious service. BUT as long as we kept it down it would be ok.
All this was told to us by a member of his staff.

The following day the NEW owner appeared rushing towards the man with the dog in an extremely RUDE , aggressive way with absolutely no people skills what so ever demanding the dogs go within the hour or the whole group leaves. When we told him that we spoke to the office staff the night before he continued to behave very rude and situated that we were lying.

In an attempt to placate and build a positive relationship we asked for assistance to find a boarding kennel. Only then did he seem to relax long enough to build some trust with us. Two days later I personally witnessed more campers come with dogs and at no time did I see him approach or tell them as he did with us.

He did come to ask us to not smoke on the site and if we had to, to go to the cars and do so. From that moment on we did as he asked, again trying to keep a healthy trust between the two. He asked us to control a person that seemed inebriated and we did. The man no longer drank. He told me, '' if you drink as last year just make sure to not walk around with a bottle in hand and I will not tolerate anyone drunk.'' I said I understood and that night we were careful to maintain the music low turning it off completely by 10PM and NO ONE was drunk. Interestingly enough there was another group that played their live music till 5AM. Again we listened to his request and complied.

The following day we had made plans and HE had personally told me that we could all move to another area and stay the day EVEN after check out. This did not happen and he got more and more aggressive. At one point he says we can stay if we all pay $6 more each and that would give us 4 more hours he gave us 2 MINUTES to do this. We came up with the money within 10 minutes but he came back stating he did not want our money and that the sheriffs were on the way. Our conversation comprised of his stating that he had bent backward for us and we continued to disrespect him. I tried to show him how we had been doing what he asked and when I mentioned that he had said that is was ok as long as we didn’t make it overly obvious he said that we had not done that the night before, when we brought up the live music he stated well i don't know about that i wasn't here. Direct COTRADICTION to his statement of our behavior the night before. I feel he just wanted us out but couldn't make up his mind or figure how to do it.

Most were able to clear out but some had paid to stay another night. He came back again and this time he had a HAMMER in his hand and was very aggressively stating his side. When the police arrived he stated that this was the pieces of shit he had to deal with all weekend. *Not very Christian like if you ask me, actually he was a direct contradiction to that term.

We all had our kids and are in our 40 not some young teenagers although he seemed to like to speak to us in that condescending tone. At no point were we drunk and belligerent although he certainly was the latter.

I am sad that this happened but think he probably is a very unhappy that needs to excerpt control in what ever manner possible. I feel for his family especially his beautiful new baby boy for if this is his mannerism there is no good end there. I in my ''unchristian'' way still forgive him and pray he can find the inner peace to become the person his family will truly need in the future.

Beautiful place sad to never set foot again.

Larry CANCELLED my reservation for June 29th, 2013, which my family planned since February! The reason? SOME GROUP WOULD COME EARLIER THAN MY GROUP AND WOULD BE STAYING LONGER SO HE GAVE MY RESERVATION TO THIS GROUP. LARRY SAID, "IT'S JUST BUSINESS!"

Larry and I communicated via phone and email since February 2013. Larry also sent a copy of my RESERVATION via email on March 13, which I CONFIRMED. I even VISITED the site and met Larry on March 23rd and further confirmed my reservation. We both AGREED on the two cabins my family was going to stay in. I did not receive any phone call nor email message from Larry since March 23rd. He claimed he called and sent emails, but I have records from my phone company and Internet provider that he DID NOT contact me between March 23 and April 12. On April 12, I received a phone mesage from his staff telling me to confirm my reservation. I returned the call the following day. On April 12, I also received two separate emails containing the CONTRACT and LIABILITY agreements, respectively. Then on April 15, I received a phone message that Larry CANCELLED my reserrvation because I did not return the call and that they tried calling me and their phone was blocked! My phone service confirmed there was no blocking of his phone calls. LARRY ADMITTED THAT HE GOT ANOTHER GROUP WHO'S GIVING HIM MORE BUSINESS SO HE CANCELLED MY RESERVATION!

I tried to settle this with Larry by emailing him and leaving phone messages. I even asked to talk to Larry's supervisor or company owner, if not himself. I never received any return call nor email.

The site advertises :Love All. Worship One." My experience was totally not a reflection of what the company advertises. I think Larry's actions clearly speak of what he believes in. I wonder what happened to the word INTEGRITY.
